I have been coming to this place longer than I can remember. I stay here sometimes as well. Last year they started charging for bike parking for the first time ever. I was staying so I didn’t have to pay but my friends did. I went back this year and they are charging again. I am not paying to park and spend money somewhere. I won’t be back and every local I know agrees.

Pet friendly & clean but can be loud if your spot is near the road. There is a short race track close by & a popular biker bar. So it can be loud at times…Especially Speed Week! Or Bike Week! My advice is…don’t get a spot on the outer perimeter by the main road. Closer to the back, if you want to sleep or have timid pets.

absolutely atrocious. nasty dirty place. the only good things about it were charles who had the ice cream truck and he was delightful. and a few employees. but as for the manager CHUCK, an absolute disgrace of a human being. and RUTH and TAZ (real name henry) pictured above, they steal money from the girls they get to work at the bike week events. the security and other employees had warned my friends and i after we got there that taz and ruth exploit the women and take the money from it. which is exactly what happened to my friends and i. we were told we were selling shots, and once we get there they tell us it is jello shots with zero liquor. we had to pay ruth and taz out of pocket for each jello shot and try to sell them an unreasonable price. everyone was mad because they wasted money on a shot with no alcohol . then, we did a couple contests and once i saw the wet shirt contest i was livid. i refused to do it but they pressured the girls to do it promising them money and let me tell you they charged every man $20 to pick a girl (there was about 23 girls) to dump buckets of water on, so that you can see their nipples thru their white wet tops. everyone was recording , the men requested my friends and sure enough ruth and taz kept the $40 and did not give my friends a single dollar for being exploited after promising they’d make money from the contest. we all quit after that and they all were mad that we refused to pay them for their non alcoholic shots and rip off customers, so they tried to kick us out only because they were upset that everyone was quitting and they ran low on girls to exploit. something MUST be done to these people . they brought a girl in randomly to get up on stage during one of the contests and had her get FULLY NAKED and FINGER HERSELF!!!! there is something very disturbing about this place and it needs to get shut down . they use women to make money and give the girls nothing.

We set up our jewelry booth for the first time at this location for Daytona bike week. It was a little slow, but I was hearing it was that way at other locations.

I got time off to go to bike week at the last minute and couldn’t find a campground. Someone was selling their space here on Craigslist, and I bought it. I’ll probably never go anywhere else. It’s like a small city with great food vendors, live bands from 12p to 1a, and not a ton of rules. If you’re a biker you’re going to love it, if you’re a Karen pretending to be a biker you’ll hate it. We were only supposed to stay for 7 days but it was so crowded that we couldn’t get out with a 40ft class A towing a trailer, so they asked us if we wanted to just stay till Sunday, which we did. They don’t have sewer hookups but there’s a pumpout service that comes around for $40. We we’re hard to get to and they kept missing us so I spoke with the manager and he had someone there almost immediately and didn’t charge us. If you have a problem, they will do their best to fix it, which is all you can ask. We had a great time and much prefer a place like this than a campground that won’t let you build a fire, or ride your loud bike in after a certain time. We’ll be regulars going forward. We also got to see 2 national recording artists while we we’re there (free of charge).

First time in Daytona, the campground was pretty cool. Love the tent camping. Will NEVER return to Cackleberry due to the equipment inspection at the front gate. If you never have been there’s about 5 cops at the front gate pulling people over for equipment violations. I rode my old Harley chopper which is legal in almost every other state and got hit with no turn signals, no mirror and no front brake. This is the ONLY spot in Daytona you should worry about getting a ticket. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT BIKERS OR THEYD MAKE THIS STOP.
