Une très belle expérience ! Une belle semaine mais il faut dire que nous sommes très autonome… La piscine est propre, la pêche est permise et le décor enchanteur !

Great campground This tour was our second stay and we plan to go back. Stayed first in April of 2024 and then January 2025. Campground itself I would not say is a resort like many new campers would be accustomed to but is clean and maintained. (We did not look at the showers).
Things we like:
-Camp ground is dark and quiet most times (you can hear waves if you listen). A lot of foliage that blocks light from neighbors allows the feeling you are more secluded and it’s easier to see the sky.
-Saftey: while we never noticed any security the campground is gated and we never felt unsafe even walking late at night when we had our dog and were comfortable letting our kids ride their bikes within reason.
– water activity: access to the beach is an easy walk from camp ground access road or private parking if you wish to drive. We used a wagon. While we did not use the pool it seemed very clean inviting.
-sites: as I said they are sandy but manageable if you understand you are camping almost on the beach. Sites are sizable you’re not on top of each other. Hookups seemed well maintained and located well.
Dislikes:
-Picnic tables both stays were the only item I saw that needed maintenance, while boards were replaced that were broken the rest of the table was still not in great shape.
-campground does not have fire rings as they do allow open fires, not sure why but it is understandable considering the amount of vegetation. But I did notice some campers brought their own. There is some allowances for raised and screened fires.
Some have complained about the hospitality of the staff. I found most staff to be polite when approached and we did not encounter any problems. Staff on the phone were understanding to our late arrival due to traffic. Overall I Would have like to have seen more of a staff presence or interaction during our stays.
We have used this camp as a stopping point on our way home to NJ from southern Florida to visit friends in both locations and have only stayed a few days. In the future we are planning a longer trip hopefully with warmer weather (cold spell in January temps dropped to 40* at night and 70s during the day)

We absolutely loved this place. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! If you like the beach, this the spot. If you like great restaurants, this is the spot. The only negative is that we only had three nights to spend there. This is a classic old Florida campground. Our site was completely covered by trees and shrubs. We felt like we were the only camper on-site. Yes it is a little older and could use a few updates but the bathroom/showers were clean and plenty nice. The pool is older but was nice and clean. The office was being worked on, so I suspect it will be much nicer the next time we visit. The laundry rooms could definitely use an upgrade but with that being said, they did wash and dry our clothes. We will be back, that is a guarantee!

Great location to visit St. Aug and beach access. We been coming up around Christmas time for years, it hasn’t changed a bit. . High price ($95 per night) for the quality of the sites. Dirt sites no concrete pads, main building bathrooms are very run down and dirty. I have a feeling they are going out of business (my opinion only). Sites are quiet and very private. Some sites have permanent trailers on them from the 1940’s.

Loved camping here. We were in site 120 and had a wonderful stay. Campsites are sand but ours was pretty level. We were walking distance to the beach and two restaurants. The sites where we were are very spacious with enough greenery between sites you have tons of privacy. Sites in back by the river were more open and tighter together. But you have views of the river. We are definitely coming back! The campsite was also very close to attractions in St. Augustine.

Good, but it could be great. This campground has beautiful grounds, with lots of trees and plants around sites which makes each feel private and secluded. The sites are sand but all seemed level and hook-ups were well positioned. The location can’t be beat, steps from the beach and a short walk to 2 great restaurants at the front and rear of the campground. 5 minute drive from gas & groceries and 10 minutes to the heart of St Augustine.
Unfortunately, this campground falls short of 5 stars as bathrooms were poorly maintained, cable was so snowy it was unusable and WiFi is non existent on the resort (only available in the main office). We would stay again but for the price ($100+/night), clean bathrooms and WiFi should be a standard.

It’s an older campground been there for years my sister was in her camper & we rented a cabin lots a good size, cabin was very clean had plenty of what needed. Best thing is you can go fishing easily, then cross street and your on ocean side come pack and pool is there also.
st augustine is a 10 minute drive to enjoy, the restaurant we ate at on site was food was very good. Plentiful. Price accurate. Can rent a golf cart too.
