Avis Des Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia, WI

We had a great time. We rented one of the glamping cabins and it was wonderful. We had perfect weather. The drone show and Silent Disco at Bear Paw were the highlights and we did every activity we could at Yogi too. I thought the HEY ride was super fun. We did not rent a golf cart due to the cost, but wanted to. I would just bring an adult sized scooter next time to get around. When I used my kids’ scooters the distance from our cabin to the pool was much quicker. You can’t get better than camping with a shower, toilet, fridge, oven, and microwave!

Went here for carnival of lights “pet night” on December 4th 2024. First of all it was negative 5 with wind chill and snowy. There were accidents on every intersection surrounding the place, no fault of their own but still frustrating to navigate. After an additional 30 minutes of driving around we finally get inside and pay $30 to see the lights. Lights were cool. Next we went to take pictures with Santa. No pets allowed inside the building, you had to go behind the building in the freezing cold with no professional camera. Whereas inside was obviously WARM had professional lighting and a professional camera. Absolutely RIDICULOUS to call something a pet event and not make it pet inclusive. SEVERELY disappointed and dissatisfied.

There are very low loud planes every few minutes at night that keep you awake or wake you up. There is also a train siren several times a day and night. It does not feel like camping, people are packed in tight. We did have a spacious campsite which we were grateful for and enjoyed that aspect. However, we had rowdy neighbors who did not respect quiet hours and security did not enforce it. For this reason, we won’t be back next year.
The kids had a blast with all the kids activities. The pool/water area was clean and fun! They loved walking up yogi bear and boo boo.
Bathrooms could use more cleaning. They were disgusting at times with no toilet paper.
Golf cart rental prices seemed a bit high, we did not get one and it was a lot of walking.

I was not expecting much being it was so close to home. It turned out to be a blast and so relaxing. Nothing there creates pressure. Staff was so very friendly and courteous. Kids playing and being so happy in the water and playground. There is so much to do. One staff member, Michael, was super courteous and talked with me for a few minutes which was nice of him to take time from his schedule to see how the trip was.

A great experience for the kids, not so kid-centric that adults can’t have a good time either! The sites are well maintained, there are activities for all ages and family friendly activities. NOT a hotel, although there are cabins available to rent. Although it is a great convenience, it is not essential, the availability of golf carts is very nice.

Highly recommend. As I backed my RV in, I realized I had a flat tire. I asked at the store for recommendations of who to call and Theresa had maintenance (Todd & Gage) take it off for me and she took it to the tire shop to have it fixed for me. Very kind & generous. I’m here in September so not so busy & the grounds are beautiful as welll.

A HUGE facility with average sized full hook up sites, both pull through and back in, with both gravel and concrete pads. This family oriented park has enough to keep the kids active and entertained with things like 3 pools, including water slides, miniature golf, jump pad, playground, large video arcade, and much more. They have something like 300 sites and 75 cabins and rent electric carts to navigate the park. When the Milwaukee airport is landing north we’re under the arrival corridor so the planes fly over at low power settings and the noise level is about the same as the kids make while playing. I do periodically hear the trains in the distance but did not consider either of these to be noise issues.

My husband and I are staying in a campground down the road. I happened to drive by Jellystone and stopped in to check it out for a future stay. I walked in the office and politely inquired if I could drive through the park to look at the RV sites. I was told (rather curtly) by the young woman at the desk that tours are given during the week only. (It was Saturday.) I politely asked if I could just walk through, and was refused, with an attitude, because “there are a lot of people here.” My next question was to inquire about rates. The reply was that “they charge all the time.” I asked about a weekly rate and was told, “That would be very expensive.” The audacity of this woman to assume she knows what I can afford to pay! She finally and grudgingly looked up the rates for the following week and told me an RV site was approximately $300 for 2 nights. Later that day I looked online and discovered the rates were $60-75 per night. I was dressed nicely and remained polite despite the incredibly rude treatment I received. We have family in the area, but we will NEVER stay at this campground. FYI there is a wonderful state campground right down the road, Cliffside Park. Water and electric only, but less than half the price of this place.
