Well, the management has switched over recently. Not sure about the staff yet.

I do love the campground in general. I have stayed here twice now. The trails are great! There are lots of walking and biking riding options in this camp. Plenty of room, so not crowded even at high season. The residents are kind and welcoming.

There are a lot of dogs, and plenty of poop stations. My main complaint is that they REFUSE to fill up the poop bag stations with bags. I asked a few times and even did a price search. It is only $43.00 for 2,000 bags. Instead of filling up the stations with bags, they have now removed the poop bag dispensers. WE MUST PROVIDE OUR OWN POOP BAGS???? So a trip to the dollar store? I have NEVER seen a park NOT provide bags! Very disappointed. :(. and there is no Dog Park…

We had a wonderful weekend here. Staff was very nice and laid back. Check-in went smoothly and our stay was easy. I read a bunch of reviews that made me nervous, but I’m glad we stayed here. There were a bunch of sites w sewer hookups, water, and electric. They give you a map of all the different areas w hookups. With the river flooding, I understand why they don’t have sewer everywhere. We will be back 🙂

Staff was nice, guests/residents were nice, amenities were nice, but I felt like I was at a convention for dogs with anxiety disorders. Excessive amount of barking throughout every day I was there. I’ve never been to a campsite that had this many noisy dogs and dog owners who were oblivious to the needs of their pets or other guests.

Easy check in, nice grounds, cute trails. Walmart is 10 minutes away and there is a pool here. We are here during a tropical storm and it’s still a bit early, but no flooding at all. No issues to report! Also, the gas station on the corner of 64 and 17 has really great fried food. Like REALLY freaking good.

We love the park for its location and scenic layout. It is located 2 hours from our home so ends up being our “go to” park for a quick get away. It is a free for all on getting a site so you can’t always count on full hookups. We just try to plan when they’re not too busy. The only downside we continually have is we have NEVER felt welcome or that the staff even wanted us there. We “inconvenienced” them,,,???? Because of the “not wanted” impression they give, we are trying. to decide if we will continue up the road a couple of more hours to 3 Flags @ Wildwood FL. They are the greatest and treat you like close family. We wish they were our closest park…They make sure we get a spot with full hookups and that fits our RV the best. (maybe the Peace River staff could go up there for training???

I stayed in a campsite. My backup camera was not working and staff helped me back in. All sites are back in no pull-thru. You are fined if you pull thru sites, and fined if you do. I agree with this as it keeps the park in great condition. Would stay for the 21 days if I had the time. It was before “High” season.

The staff said the pool and hot tub were functioning on a call we made before booking a stay there. The hot tub was not open. The roads were closed in the campground and nobody told us, so when we made a turn, the road was blocked off down over the hill. The grass was above ankle height and tree debris was everywhere. One site we looked had garbage scattered around it. We decided to leave and booked a different campground.
